China is responsible for hackers attacks

NATO members, EU, Australia, New Zealand and Japan publicly blame China in recent hacking attacks, including a large-scale campaign that exploited vulnerabilities in Microsoft’s e-mail system.  National Security Agency, Cybersecurity, FBI and Infrastructure Security Agency published a new advisory listing 50 tactics, techniques and procedures which Chinese state-sponsored hackers employ. Joe Biden said that about Beijing, which is not directly responsible for the attacks, but he blames them for providing protection to hackers.

IBM had great results

Company released results. Its revenue grew 3% per year in the quarter, according to a statement this is the fastest growth in three years, even if they consider corona virus impact. In this quarter company spent $1.75 billion on acquisitions. Reports from second-quarter earnings showed strong power and influenced market growth. Even analysts were surprised.

 Bad news for Apple

Amnesty International brought negative news for the company. Apple iPhones can be hacked by spyware and private data can be stolen, even without clicking at link. Report from Amnesty International found evidence which proves that iPhones belonging to journalists and human rights lawyers was attacked with malware from NSO Group named. Surprisingly infected was an iPhone 12, the newest iPhone model, with iOS 14.6, the newest software.

Toyota will not sponsor Olympics

Producer of motor cars Toyota announced at last second that company will not be sponsoring Olympic games in Tokyo. Problem is security connected with Corona virus. Company has doubts about organizers, if they can keep the Games safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. This big decision could could be negative factor for others sponsors. Also some japanese corporations who already paid for sponsorship rights has now a dilemma of public judgment.
